New improved & optimised hosting packages

In the new store area we've upgraded our web hosting services. By streamlining our main hosting packages we've been able to give our customers an improved hosting specification including Wordpress optimisation tools & speed!

We operate two distinct platforms with four packages in each, all are using hi-spec enterprise Samsung SSDs, optimised for high performance with load balancing to banish downtime: so there’s no single point of failure. Whether it’s WordPress or Linux, we'll manage your hosting updates and keep you secure.

The new global Content Delivery Network (CDN) will cache your website at different locations around the World, there are no bandwidth limits meaning it loads faster wherever you are. Also included is a comprehensive Website Acceleration Suite which helps speed up the loading of your site by compressing images and code. We've already activated & optimised this feature, however you have complete control so you can fine-tune your site as much as you’d like, if you wish.

The Domain Name System (DNS) translates domain names and email addresses into IP addresses. So when you visit a URL, your browser knows the address of the server to download the page from. It’s an essential part of the internet – so it needs to be fast. All domains hosted with us benefit frome Google Cloud DNS. It provides a quick and stable response regardless of traffic and location.

Enterprise-level Protection - Distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks are a growing hazard on the web. That’s why we have added 1 Tbps+ anti-DDoS protection. This enterprise-level protection covers you against most attacks. It only filters-out malicious traffic, so you can carry on working without noticing any interruption.

Our new Super-fast Edge Cache Engine is a pre-configured NGINX edge cache system, it speeds up page loading for users. Although we have optimsed this for each customer, you might want to manage the cached content yourself.

Timeline Backups are there to protect your website data. They take daily backups of your website and database, allowing you to restore back to that time. This helps if you’ve been hacked – or if you’ve made a serious mistake, like deleting something you shouldn’t!

And finally.. Our servers and all websites are hosted in secure, state-of-the-art data centres based in the Midlands, UK. They’re manned 24/7 and include high-level physical security measures. These cover everything from backup power generators to advanced fire protection.
